sarah and adam’s bear brook valley sunny summer wedding wasn’t looking like it was going to be so sunny. for pretty much a couple weeks before their wedding, the weather was calling for rain every day (and has continued to do so for the weeks after), but almost all of the time, it wouldn’t rain. same thing happened the week of their wedding… i have a pretty good thing going with mother nature and weddings, so i knew we’d likely be ok. i definitely did not expect a full on sunny day though, and eventhough it was quite hot, it was nice to be able to be outside and enjoy the beautiful bear brook valley grounds. everyone was so awesome about being outside in the heat (thank you all!).
sarah and adam both work in the medical field. sarah is a pediatrician who did her residency at the hospital that adam works at as an er nurse, but it took the internet to bring them together. i have many stories of couples whose paths were crossing or so close to crossing, but it took the internet to make it happen. like all of my couples, when I met them, i knew they were my people. although we were supposed to meet up in the fall to do an engagement session, sarah broke her ankle! adam and i exchanged a couple phone calls around that time and although i knew he was super caring and loving from the first meeting with him, his level of care and desire to make sarah happy just melted my heart. thankfully, sarah was all better for the wedding and had her dancing shoes on… literally… she wore wedding day keds. a girl after my own heart.. comfort and utility and they were super cute, too.
