rajesh’s sweetgrass pavilion surprise 60th birthday was awesome not only because it was a happy and spirited occasion, but because i also got to work with beejal once again. beejal is rajesh’s daughter and she reached out to me about photographing his surprise birthday party and i was happy i was able to do it!

while I was originally focused in on rajesh’s reaction, I zoomed back out because priya’s reaction was too good to miss. apparently rajesh thought there were a lot more phone calls and text messages happening over the past few weeks, but he wasn’t expecting the party he was walking into to be for him…
