Katie and Brian’s The Gables LBI summer wedding brought me back to one of my most favorite venues. It’s the most quaint little inn with so much character in Beach Haven, New Jersey. The open air setting beckons visitors to come and enjoy not only the atmosphere, but the amazing food. It is no wonder Katie and Brian chose The Gables for their wedding venue. One of these days I’ll make it there for a meal of my own (hint hint to my husband). It was great working with Sarah Montgomery events for Katie and Brian’s The Gables LBI summer wedding.

As someone with a Masters in Oceanography, I am always drawn to art that involves the ocean and her paintings of waves really wow me, especially as someone who is great with painting with light with the camera, but not so much with the paintbrush, hah.

Katie and Brian did a first look in the garden of The Gables. With all the postponements and cancellations, I hadn’t been to the Gables since the early winter of 2020 and the garden was just wow with lushness!

Katie and Brian’s wedding ceremony was literally seven minutes from start to finish. I take it as a fun challenge to be able to tell the story of their ceremony so quickly…
That moment when you just want that one cute pic of your kids… I appreciate this kind of image though because this is just the season of life and there is nothing wrong with remembering it as such…

A fantastic day was had for Katie and Brian’s The Gables LBI summer wedding, we were even spared the very hot and humid weather that this summer has presented us with thus far! Thanks to Brandan Calhoun for assisting me.
