Although I have spent much time in Cream Ridge, New Jersey, I had never been to the Holland Ridge Farm until Justin reached out about his proposal to Emma that he wanted to take place there. We had a beautiful day for this Holland Ridge Proposal and everything went just as we planned with Emma not suspecting anything was really up. I always get a little nervous myself right before proposals. I want everything to go just right and I don’t want to ruin the surprise and people get nervous which can lead to sudden shifts in where they stand. Wedding proposals present their own new challenges. She said “yes” and right after we took a few portraits before Justin was whisking her away to New York for the weekend!
It’s always so interesting how covering the mouth is the natural response to this moment…
Clearly, she said, “yes”….
