Isabella and Andrew’s Perona Farms summer wedding had some familiar faces in familiar places. I photographed Isabella’s sister’s wedding at the Refinery at Perona Farms a few years back (click here to view). A few years before that I had photographed her sister’s husband’s brother’s (hah) wedding at the Barn at Perona Farms as well (click here to view)! It’s always so fantastic to see my couples and their families again.
Isabella and Andrew did not let the scorching heat get to them. They had the right attitude around the entire day. While they win the award for the fastest wedding ceremony I’ve ever shot (about 7 minutes from when Andrew walked down the aisle to when they exited as husband and wife), they were clearly ready to get every minute out of the reception and dance all night!

A quick prep with Andrew… Love when people incorporate their pups into their wedding day.

Did I mention it was hot out?

I popped next door for a quick prep with Isabella…

a little pre-wedding push up…

First look with her dad…

Isabella and her brother and sister are very close so another first look with her brother…
And one more first look with Andrew! I love how, in this moment, they ended up mimicking each other’s postures and expressions so naturally.

Ceremony time!

Andrew beaming as Isabella walks down the aisle during their Perona Farms summer wedding ceremony…

Time to party!

A rainbow appeared during the reception…

Gotta get all of my couples in on one shot!

My two former brides and tie-limbo… yes!
The moment Andrew checked his watch and the realization that there was only a few more minutes left to party. Boo!

Thanks to Isabella and Andrew for being so chill (see what I did there?) and being a blast to work with on their Perona Farms summer wedding day. What an honor it is to capture so many siblings’ weddings! I always say, “Awesome people know other awesome people. I prefer to keep my work in the circle of awesome.”
I’d like to give a shout out to my husband for assisting me. While he would have enjoyed a day off chilling in a pool somewhere, he helped his wife on an important day in the sweltering heat because that is what marriage looks like nearly 15 years later. Way back in our earlier days, almost 14 years ago, he helped me on a wedding at Perona Farms in a venue space that doesn’t even exist anymore! And here I am all these years later, back there with him, photographing my 13th sibling wedding of my career, with a crew that has all had Perona Farms wedding!
