stephanie and steve, two busy professionals living in new york city, met up with me one afternoon for their west village nyc engagement session. our original date to meet up was an exceptionally hot and sticky day, but the cool thing (see what i did there) about engagement sessions is that we can reschedule them to suit our temperature comfort levels better. here’s to hoping we get the perfect fall weather for their new jersey wedding at the madison hotel in a couple of months. also, stephanie and i are birthday twins. of course, i’m a bit older than her, but that’s just a fun little fact. june 8th, for the win!
always love the cobblestone streets of new york city…
when a bus with a random raccoon labeled ‘new yorker’ passes behind your couple, you take the pic…
a quiet street with some quaint staircases and one randoid lurking just out of the frame. i even went so far as to ask the man if these were his steps and he wanted us to move, but he said, ‘no’. ok dude, spectate, whatevs.
another woman stopped to tell us that the next house over was marc jacobs’ house. you never know whose steps you are sitting on in nyc…
photobombed by a taxi cab…
a little stroll along the water while the sun begins to set…
can’t beat that beautiful light beaming between these two…
so happy we opted for the cooler summer day for stephanie and steve’s nyc engagement session. looking forward to their madison hotel wedding in new jersey later this year…
