brooke and jonathon know a few couples whose weddings i have photographed so it was a natural fit. it meant putting myself on a triple which i try to avoid, but after speaking with them, i knew they would be fun and so i didn’t mind putting myself on a marathon wedding weekend. their wedding took place on a beautiful september day at the palace at somerset park. oddly enough, i’d end up shooting at the palace again the next day! lots of laughter, some tears (of joy and sentiment) and a great finale….
chairman of the board… of plastic wrapping…
constellations created by brooke’s engagement ring…
cutie pies fist bumping…
the irony of the moment is great. when brooke opened her card from jon, this was her expression when she saw that he typed out his letter on the back…
her mood greatly changed once she started actually reading it…jonathon really got her with his words.
stepping into the dress…
dramatic veiling… unposed, unstaged..
gorgeous…
love all the laughter between these two!
classic.
fun with the veil…
while the ring bearer was being a bit shy about being in the photos, i asked them to step out of the photos for a minute and the flower girl grabbed his hand to start dancing with him… adorable…
go time!
love how a little breeze gently moved brooke’s veil…
hah!
pete is a pro at being a groomsmen, especially in weddings of mine… but he’s next!
ringbearer… never quits.
i posted this picture mostly because the guy on the left looks like he just saw a big spider and i think it just looks fun…
hah!
drinking beer out of a straw = rough morning…
love to see familiar faces!
bride on the speaker!
i love that jon took a moment to kiss his bride rather than just pull her up from the dance floor after a great finale!
such a great time with brooke and jonathon from start to finish! lots of familiar faces, perfect weather and smiles! thanks to kelsey davis for assisting me.
