courtney and shaun decided to get a little practice before their rock island lake club wedding next month and came out to my ‘hood to do a shoot. we headed to tinicum park to take some pics after courtney and shaun had said they loved the area i lived in and wanted to do something out my way….
sometimes people ask me if i scout locations and my answer is usually, ‘no.’ some photographers may say i’m dumb, they can think what they want… but every time i check out a place- i’m always thrown off when i show up to shoot that day because there are usually cars or signs or, in this case, 40 porta potties and hundreds of people on a religious pilgrimage in the way. despite the new scenery and extra people…. i think we made the park work in the end….
you would never know there were like 40 porta potties behind them….

courtney and shaun were so easy going when they got stuck in pilgrimage traffic and showed up to the park i suggested with 40 porta potties… if they can handle that, i know they will have a great wedding day next month!
