Beccah and Matt’s Desmond Hotel Malvern PA wedding took place on a wonderfully comfortable and beautiful day. I met Beccah and Matt shortly before their wedding as their original wedding photographer was no longer going to be able to travel to their wedding. Their original wedding photographer, Meera Graham, was kind enough to do some searching for them to help them find a suitable replacement and I was one of the photographers Meera felt comfortable recommending after chatting with me via email and thus the connection was made and I think it was a good one!
Beccah made a really cool and personal box to put her gift to Matt in…
I love when I ‘snipe’ an image…
I love a laughing portrait…
Beccah checks out her look that was put together by her maid-of-honor…
High heels are cool and all, but I notice that in recent years brides are really getting wise about comfort on their wedding day…
An alternate view of getting in the dress and also a beautiful highlight of Beccah’s hair…
While Beccah had plenty of smiles reading her card from Matt, I loved this little expression. People often attempt to hold back emotion and this is that moment…
Beccah looking beautiful!
Beccah walking with her mom as they head over to her first look…
Matt anticipates seeing Beccah…
I shared this image because it’s that moment as they both try to hold back the emotion of seeing one another during their first look…
The look of love…
Matt watches as Beccah walks down the aisle for their Desmond Hotel Malvern PA wedding ceremony…
Love these expressions…
Traditionally, during a Jewish wedding, the bride would circle the groom seven times. Like Steph and Adam whose backyard wedding I photographed earlier this year (check it out here), Beccah and Matt split it up so that they each took turns and then at the end circled together. Here, Beccah is giving Matt a little needed guidance.
Love this look of love…
I always enjoy Ketubahs. They are such beautiful and unique works of art.
Another sweet moment of connection during their ceremony…
Mazel tov!
I absolutely adore all the joy that Becca and Matt emanated during their first dance together…
There it is again… that moment they try to hold back the flood of emotion…
The hora is my favorite wedding reception activity.. I can skip the cake cutting and line dances and bouquet tosses, just give me a hora!
This crowd was ready to party! It was a pleasure working with Matt and Beccah on their Desmond Hotel Malvern PA wedding. Thanks to Brandan Calhoun for assisting me.
