heather and seth’s lodge at the stone house at stirling ridge fall wedding was a fantastic introduction to landmark venues’ newest wedding space at their stone house location in warren, new jersey. i didn’t get to meet with heather and seth in person until a couple months before their wedding, but i could have sat and chatted with them for hours! they had the right idea about what makes for a fantastic celebration of their love. although the weather was really hot and not very fall-like at all– it was a beautiful day with a beautiful couple.
love that seth rocked a feather bowtie…
seth’s dad has had this shoe horn from atlantic city for 40 years. when i said that it was pretty amazing that one plastic shoe horn would last that long, seth’s dad told me he broke one at some point, but he had bought two because they were so fantastic. as someone who still has their bike from 1992 (because there is just no better bike out there for me and i fully plan on it being my main bike in 2032), i can really appreciate this shoe horn.
love the feather accents on the pocket square, too!
how cool is this die cut wedding invitation?
when I walked into the room, heather’s hair and make up artists were all over her look…
and you can see why! gorgeous.
cutie pie!
the struggle is real…
simple and classic portrait to show off heather’s stunning look…
love all the happy!
the face you make when you jump in the fountain and get sprayed with water…
(sometimes i just like to write stuff to see if anyone is paying attention)
ketubah signing time…
i love ketubah signings. there is so much symbolism and neat traditions. in essence, it was created to dictate security and protection for the woman which was a pretty radical concept for this ancient tradition.
seth… a fellow leftie…
i love little moments like this…
the lodge at stirling ridge fall wedding outdoor ceremony is a sweet little spot amongst the trees…
she was still throwing them once she got to her seat…hah.
it was hot day…. like 80 degrees hot. not exactly fall weather, but better than rain that has been threatening the better half of the 2018 wedding season because it allowed for an outdoor ceremony where I was able to get this beautiful sunflare with my 11 year old camera. relax, it’s just an extra camera that i use for just a handful of pics on a wedding– but it’s a beast and can still deliver.
a little slam poetry style reading…
the moment after the kiss when heather realizes her lipstick is all over seth’s lips…
each guest was able to sit for their own caricature…
heather and seth’s lodge at stirling ridge fall wedding at landmark venues’ stone house was a down-to-earth event with all the right elements of love and fun! great working with jose and his video team from delia studios. many thanks to kelsey davis for assisting me.
