when stephanie reached out to me about her and steve’s madison hotel wedding, it was pretty obvious she was my kind of bride and that’d we’d be a good fit for working together. we share the same birthday, i have a thing for flamingoes as well (there used to be one on my site and i realize i have too many saved items at places like etsy of flamingo things i want to order) and i get the impression that we are both overachievers who know how to work hard, but like to be a little silly and have fun. we got to meet up in nyc for their engagement session during the summer to get a little practice for the big day. it was a beautiful and comfortable fall day for their madison hotel wedding.

i could not edit without laughing when i got to this picture. the flamingo slippers are awesome and having them try to keep a straight face with them on was funny to watch…
