Christine and Jason were both born at the same hospital down the road from where we did their New Jersey Shore family photos in Red Bank. They went to high school together and though they didn’t date then, they ended up together. We first worked together on their engagement session in Asbury Park. You can check that out here. They then had a fantastic fall wedding at Rock Island Lake Club which you can check out here. And while I didn’t know at the time, but would come to find out not too long after… Christine was just a few weeks pregnant with Sawyer at their wedding. After she told me the news that she was expecting, I looked at their photos again and saw them in a different light knowing they had a really special secret. The images took on a new and different meaning to me. While work took them several states away from New Jersey, I was very happy when Christine reached out to book some New Jersey shore family photos with me on their trip back to NJ. I get such a kick out of meeting my couple’s little ones. I’ve studied my couples faces for so long while taking photos and then hours of looking at them again while editing, that I love seeing the expressions and physical attributes that their own kid takes on. I’ve been observing people professionally for over 15 years.. I still get a kick out of my couples making new little people for me to observe…It is also just super fantastic to watch two awesome people make more awesome people!

It was such a pleasure working with Christine and Jason again and getting to meet Sawyer during their New Jersey shore family photo session. I feel so honored when couples want to work with me again, especially capturing their most precious people in their life. It was such a joy to see them as a family!
