Meghan and Mike’s Park Avenue Club wedding was a fantastically paced and fun event. Meghan and Mike were super chill about the day and I loved how they let things flow. Meghan was actually ready the earliest I’ve ever had a bride be ready and so we had plenty of time to take portraits at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum and still have a bit of time to chill out ahead of their outdoor wedding ceremony at the Park Avenue Club. Meghan’s daughter, Mackenzie, and their infant son, Teddy, were an added bonus to the day! Super cute and happy little people.
Teddy was enjoying the whole getting ready process although I think he wore himself out a bit all the joy he expressed!
Gotta get those squats in for the day…
This is such a precious moment and, to me, it’s the authentic equivalent to the staged photo of all of the bridesmaids perfectly placed around the bride’s dress as if they are all helping her. In my nearly 20 years of photographing weddings, I have never seen that bridesmaid moment organically happen. When I saw the guys all helping and looking at Teddy, it immediately reminded me of that shot, but made me so happy because this was truly a candid moment. For me, it’s always better when it is real.
Teddy loving the result of his look…
So much happy going on here!
Mackenzie stopped by the groom prep for minute to see how things were going…
A few finishing touches for Mackenzie…
Starbucks and wine for fuel for the day….
Love the look Mackenzie is giving Teddy…
Meghan and Mike were full of smiles and laughter during their portrait session at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum…
Give me all the laughter!
After we finished pictures at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, we headed to the Park Avenue Club for their outdoor fall wedding ceremony. Here, Mike’s dad holds Teddy up a la the Lion King…
A sweet moment at the altar with Mike and Mackenzie…

Kids during ceremonies… hah…
I say I all the time, but laughter during the ceremony is my favorite!

I love the kids’ expressions watching the saxophonist from Daddy Pop on the dance floor…
Just after his “Let me clear my throat!” moment… iykyk…
I always love a crowd that really knows the deal when it comes to Meatloaf’s “Paradise by the Dashboard Light”…
A perfect image to end on…It was a pleasure working with Meghan, Mike, Mackenzie, Teddy and their friends and family on this beautiful Park Avenue Club wedding day. They let it flow and it all worked out beautifully! Thanks to Brandan Calhoun for assisting me.
