This Princeton University family photography session was my 6th time working with brothers Harrington and Paxton! Ok, well technically, the 4th time with Paxton because he wasn’t born yet when I started photographing Harrington. (You can find the links to their past sessions at the end of this blog). It is always a joy to catch up with the boys. Every stage is different when you photograph kids and the sibling dynamics shift throughout the years… often from hugs and snuggles, to a bit more sibling rivalry and then back to happily getting along. It is all a part of growing up. Bryan and Michael have always been fun to work with as parents because they let it flow and let the kids be kids.
Harrington wrestled Paxton to the ground a bit… but Paxton doesn’t seem to mind…
Harrington has got a bit of height and power on Paxton still, but Paxton is having fun with it!
Always need to remember… little brothers grow up. Sometimes they grow up to be the bigger ones so the tables can turn. Here, Paxton was able to take Harrington down and he is clearly happy about it.
It wasn’t all smiles. Sometimes the brotherly love turns sour for a few, but years down the road when we are past those days, we can look back and laugh at it…Always love seeing the boys and we had a beautiful Fall afternoon for their Princeton University family photography session.
