Stephanie and Eric were just two weeks away from their Skylands Manor wedding last year when everything went crazy. They rescheduled with me and a couple of days later everything shut down. They moved their wedding over a year out and they handled it with such grace. Stephanie and Eric’s Castle at Skylands Manor wedding was one of those days where everything happened right on time, there was never a moment of being pressured for time and the rainy forecast held out so that we were able to get great photos outside on the NJ botanical gardens grounds around Skylands Manor. I was so happy that Stephanie and Eric had such a wonderful day. They totally deserve it and their concern, patience and understanding of the vendor side of things through this situation was so appreciated.
Weddings often have a bit of chaos during certain parts of the day. I loved having space and calm during Stephanie’s prep…
Eric was right next door which made it easy for me to bounce between them while getting ready…
Stephanie and her sister get her dress ready. Stephanie’s dress was her mother’s wedding gown and her grandmother and great-grandmother hand stitched it!
Is it no surprise that Stephanie worked as “Belle” from Beauty and the Beast on a Disney Cruise?
A little bit of laughter as Eric and his mom walk down the aisle…
Eric’s mom watches her son as he sees Stephanie about to walk down the aisle…
Emotional moment…
As I always say, I’m a big fan of laughter during a wedding ceremony…
So much joy!
I love this moment just before the kiss…
Checking out the rings!
It’s always so nice to see my former brides again. You can check out Shannon’s Ryland Inn wedding by clicking here.
I love all this happy!
The Castle at Skylands Manor has such a fairytale feel to it…
Stephanie and Eric’s chemistry is amazing…
Eric’s brother helps him make some adjustments prior to the start of the reception…
All that chemistry…
Party time!
Tie limbo remains one of my favorite reception activities… It has been such a pleasure working with Stephanie and Eric on their Castle at Skylands Manor wedding. Having to cancel your wedding when you are only two weeks away from it certainly isn’t the easiest thing, but these two had the right attitude about everything! So honored to have captured their day for them. Many thanks to Brandan Calhoun for assisting me.
