Just a few weeks before Danielle and Rob’s The View on the Hudson wedding, we met up to photograph their Stevens Institute Hoboken engagement session. After having a lovely meeting with Danielle, Rob and Danielle’s parents over the winter, I was happy to get to meet their pup, Axel, accompanied by Danielle’s dad who served as our dog wrangler for the day. Axel is a fantastic dog who was more than happy to participate in the photoshoot. We met up at the Stevens Institute where Danielle went to college and Rob visited her a lot… the security guard even remembered them. 
Axel… just killing it! He jumped up into Rob’s arms. Too freaking cute!

Danielle and Rob have been together for almost 10 years. They actually went to prom together.

As the winds picked up greatly, the sky started to change colors as an insane storm quickly approached. Not the best conditions for trying to get a photo during, but we went with the messy hair and impending downpour for a few pics… and downpour it did!
