Priscilla and PJ’s The Gables Inn spring LBI wedding turned out to be quite the rainy day and a few adjustments had to be made to the day, but that didn’t stop any of the joy. We had the help of Sarah Montgomery of Sarah Montgomery Events to keep things running smoothly. Weather is one of those things that can send a couple into stress mode on a wedding day, but Priscilla and PJ weren’t phased at all. We got a little break in the rain during their portraits, they went with the flow for their outdoor garden ceremony and the dancing was moved inside and all was well! I guess rain was a bit of a theme because when we met up for their Ellicott City engagement session last year, a major storm rolled in within 5 minutes of us starting to shoot. We hung in a restaurant for a bit until it slowed down and then continued on with the shoot…

It was a bit of a wet, tight squeeze for the ceremony, but Priscilla and PJ were full of joy for their garden ceremony.
Maybe you’re thinking why didn’t she retouch PJ’s suit? I didn’t because it is a part of the story. With the onset of AI we are seeing even more tweaks away from reality and that makes me sad. I’m a storyteller and I think when we edit the story so far from reality….so much is lost. There is nothing wrong with the imperfections of a wedding day…
