After almost ten years together, Danielle and Rob celebrated their The View on the Hudson NY wedding in early September. If you didn’t see their Hoboken engagement session with their super photogenic and sweet pup, Axel, you can check that out by clicking here. After being together for almost a decade, I love that Danielle and Rob kept things focused on the love and celebration of their union. They had a lot of friends and family traveling from afar! The day was filled with great weather, a beautiful ceremony on the Hudson River, a spirited party and so much love shared between Danielle and Rob!
Danielle and Rob met in high school via the Robotics team… love these robot cufflinks…
I have this rule about wedding rings… If I can’t get them to balance on their own, I’m not taking the photo, hah. I refuse to use any aids to get the rings to do things they naturally wouldn’t be able to. I like to keep my ring shots organic.
Rob had Danielle’s favorite coffee from her favorite place delivered to her…
With so many wedding images out there, I find that people often pose/set themselves up based on the wedding images they have seen before… It’s automatic, so I really love when someone isn’t influenced by everything they’ve seen. I also love showing details found. Danielle kicked her Uggs off to the side and sat down to put her shoes on by herself prior to getting dressed. I loved how authentic the moment was and that it worked in details in a natural way…
Custom Converse wedding sneaks!
Danielle and Rob… looking fantastic!
First look giggles…
The View on the Hudson is a great spot nestled in the sweet little town of Piermont, NY.
Picture perfect smiles!
A moment from the ketubah signing…
Rob and his parents looking on as Danielle starts walking down the aisle for their The View on the Hudson NY wedding…
Danielle’s mother and brother watch Danielle and her dad walk down the aisle…
Not a bad view!
A father and son kayaking stopped to enjoy the ceremony for a moment…
First dance!
Party time! I love the Jewish wedding tradition of the Horah. It’s super spirited and fast-paced. Always exciting and challenging to photograph.
Too fun!
This pic just make me smile…
I got to spend a lot of time with Danielle’s dad as her parents came to our initial meeting and he worked as the dog wrangler for Axel during their engagement session. It was easy for me to see how much he adores Danielle. These kinds of connections between parents and their kids (which I get to see a lot with my awesome couples) just melts my heart.
Lots of beautiful dancers at Danielle and Rob’s The View on the Hudson NY wedding…
Joy! Such a pleasure working with Danielle, Rob and their friends and family at their The View on the Hudson NY Wedding. Thanks to Kelsey Davis for assisting me and always fantastic working with Delia Studios for video.
