Shannon and Max were pros behind the camera by the time they got to their Waterloo Village wedding this spring after working with me in both the fall and the winter. Pretty much neighbors of mine, they came to my house for their mini engagement session in the fall. You can check out that session by clicking here. Shannon and Max decide to postpone their big wedding a couple months, but still had a fantastic riverfront intimate wedding ceremony on their original date this past winter. You can check that out by clicking here.
This was my first time at Waterloo Village and it was a great experience. I can understand why Shannon and Max chose the venue given their affinity for the outdoors. Although rain was in the forecast, it held out until the ceremony started giving us an opportunity to take some pictures around the beautiful grounds.
Max helps Shannon’s brother with his ‘do…
I love symmetry…
This moment was the inverse of the previous and thus gave my mind some more symmetry…
I’m not sure I’ve ever had a groom be able to handle the bowtie on his own…
Keeping it with the neighborhood vibe, Purotu Salon from our little town of Frenchtown was doing hair and makeup…
Shannon’s sister helps her get into her dress…
I love Shannon’s spirit!
and then I bored her to yawns…hahah…
Cute couple!
Having a Waterloo Village wedding means being surrounded by quaint buildings and lush greenery…
What you don’t see in this image is the terrifying snake that was hanging out on the stones. I’m not particularly scared of snakes, but this guy looked super menacing. I looked it up when I got home and I’m pretty sure he was a harmless typical snake, but he was good for a little heart rate increase during the portraits…
A fun little moment just before Shannon walks down the aisle…
Max’s Uncle Richie officiated the ceremony and I loved it!
First time I’ve seen a meteorite at a wedding…
I love this moment…
Mazel tov!
Max’s brother did quite the move on his entrance into the reception!
Ready to party at this Waterloo Village wedding!
I always love the horah… It has been such a pleasure working with Shannon and Max on fall, winter and spring shoots this past year. Their Waterloo Village wedding was the perfect finale. Thanks to Brandan Calhoun for assisting me.
