crystal had reached out to me about 4 months before her wedding, at a point when i had already decided to leave her particular weekend free, only to shortly thereafter decide to not take anymore weddings for 2013.. buuuut, something about her email had me sensing that she was really chill. i met up with crystal and sean… and i was right. super chill, totally down to earth couple so of course i couldn’t refuse! when the crazy wind created sideways rain on their wedding day at the smithville inn, these two didn’t let it bother them. they just went with the flow and let everything unfold. love that!
i love the process of moving a wedding dress. what other piece of clothing would you need multiple people to move, but only one person wears?
sean works on his watch…
i had to google what ‘birdemic’ was…. apparently it is what many critics call ‘one of the worst films ever made,’ although it did gain a cult following. hah.
this guy…
watchmaker?
crystal had to call sean and put him on speaker so he could tell the girls how to bustle the dress. love it!
love laughing bride portraits…so pretty….
love this…
i’m pretty sure the rain may have been smacking them sideways in the face, but they were still smiling…
love this…
smiles…
smiles…
more smiles…
when i started editing this wedding and got to this shot, i thought to myself…’there were sparklers at the wedding?’…(clearly, this is why i took the pic, but somehow i had a little lapse in memory about that time i got up close to photograph fire on a stick)
he stole my dance!
groomsmen takes my photo…love his concentration and final reaction…
this guy just kinda peeked into my lens…hah
moonwalk…
too cute!
so many thanks to crystal, sean and their family and friends. i’m sure glad i listened to my gut telling me these guys would be worth adding another wedding onto my year :o) and thanks to brian l for assisting me….
