Priscilla and PJ’s Ellicott City Engagement Session was my first trip to this wonderful little city in Maryland. Trying to align schedules can often be difficult especially when some travel is involved so despite the threat of some rain, we decided to move forward with the engagement session. While the rain held out for Priscilla and PJ’s engagement party at Laurita Winery earlier this summer… it didn’t hold out this time. We met up and had a few moments to start taking pics when the sky went very dark in one direction and the wind started to pick up. We made it work and here are the results…
I think the appeal for me to Ellicott City is that it is all small businesses, no big corporate stores and I live in a town like that and really love the feel! The wind started to pick up as we were taking this photo as the storm rolled in…
While the heavier rain passed we stopped and had sushi…
The rain was still on and off so we made it work as best as we could…
We finally got a little bit of time where we could go umbrella free for a little bit…
Sometimes you just gotta keep it simple and clean…
Ellicott Distilling Co. was nice enough to let us in out of the rain to take a few pictures. My daughter assisted me on this shot… Priscilla and PJ’s Ellicott City engagement session was a little bit of an adventure, but we made it work. I’m looking forward to working with them at one of my favorite venues, The Gables on LBI, next year. Thank you to my daughter for assisting me with not just some images, but being helping to keep me and the equipment dry with the umbrella.
