when i first met lindsay and joe, joe had told me that he knew they had to meet with me after reading one of my personal blogs because he knew ‘i was real.’
he had me right there.
the blog that he connected with was a blog that i had considered not posting after writing it. it felt heavy and personal and i wasn’t sure i wanted to open it up to the world. what i learned though, was that by sharing i evoked an emotional response out of many people, but they all came with connection… and one of the best connections it led to was meeting lindsay and joe and getting to photograph their glen cove mansion wedding. they are not only beautiful on the outside, but beautiful on the inside. warm-hearted, genuine and kind…to the core…
love this shot of lindsay checking her make-up out
i’ve never seen a bow tie adjusting train this long…
joe looking handsome…
lindsay looking radiant..
joe’s reaction to seeing lindsay as a bride…
the glen cove mansion made for a great venue for photos, a ceremony and a party…
i like the happy in this shot…
love this…
cutie pie who just became a big sister. props to her momma, lindsay’s sister, who was a very pregnant bridesmaid on a warm and sunny day… and never griped once!
love the smiles and laughter…
joe chokes up when he says his vows…
naturally, lindsay then chokes up… and behind the camera, i was choking up.
i have to say that i have personally listened to easily over 500 speeches at weddings and i’ve got to give joe’s brother some recognition for being one of the best ones. he told me it was going to be good… and honestly, i was really hoping he wouldn’t bomb, hah. but it was great… a funny, yet heartfelt performance. it not only made you laugh, but also made you realize how much joe means to his brothers and what a great couple lindsay and joe are…
lindsay dancing with her 3 sisters and mom…
lindsay’s dad breaks it down on the dance floor…
love the intensity…
i had such a wonderful day with lindsay and joe. their graciousness, sincerity and true love for one another is an inspiration…
