What was pretty neat about Jess and Steve’s LBI wedding at The Gables was that they were my second wedding in a row there which was a real treat. The couples and the guests always enjoy their experience at The Gables from the awesome food to the beautiful garden to the open air dining and dancing. The Gables is one of my favorite venues and when I showed up just two weeks later, the flowers had all popped out front like nothing I’d ever seen there before! Normally, I can’t take an image like below because there are always cars parked in front so it was a awesome to be able to get this vantage point!
The guys got ready upstairs in the room with my favorite wallpaper…
How awesome is this custom shirt with Steve’s face on it?
I don’t know if anyone enjoys this image the way I do, but the way the couple embroidered on the chair is looking at this guy was funny to me…
Jess’ sisters get the dress!
Love this!
First look in front of The Gables…
Those flowers!
Love how much chemistry Jess and Steve had during portraits. It is not everybody’s favorite thing to have their portraits taken so you might as well make it fun…
A quick jaunt to the beach…
I love the chandelier in the garden at The Gables, but for a tall guy walking down the aisle, it can present a challenge, but I love to tell the story…
Steve’s mom wipes a tear…
The fire sirens went off right at the start of the ceremony and they went on and on and on.. it was pretty hilarious…
And the sirens once again…
A spirited entrance for this LBI wedding at The Gables…
Jess’ sister does the laugh cry throughout her speech…
The Gables makes for an awesome reception with it’s open air garden…
I sincerely hope she gets her birthday wish!
The worm is one of those things I never learned to do and regret… Always a fantastic time when I get to do an LBI wedding at The Gables. Jess and Steve were such a pleasure to work with and took everything in stride which made for a great day! Thanks to Brandan Calhoun for assisting me.
