i herewith (that’s for you, ernie) declare this my blog of natalie and jeff’s wedding…
a comfortable september day back in the hudson valley with some familiar faces….
trust is letting your older sister put glue on your eyelashes…
disclaimer: natalie’s eyes really are that blue and sparkly. i did not use some cheeseball photoshop trick to make them look so blue and bright. (yes, i know the picture below is black and white, but that is the point— you can still see how sparkly her eyes are!)
more hands…
beautiful flowers…
beautiful bride…
every wedding someone brings up the state of their breath… lots of tooth brushing, gum chewing and mouth freshening happen before the ceremony. later… the fresh minty aroma generally fades away as the redolence of alcohol takes over.
natalie beaming…
i love the happiness in this photo…
um, cute…
this is one of my favorite first dance photos i’ve taken. i love how natalie is singing the song and smiling…
while natalie was dancing with her dad, her mom lost it. jeff, being the awesome guy that he is, went over and sat next to his mother-in-law… shortly after that, jeff’s mother came over. mom’s comforting moms….
jeff and his mom…
welcome to the sisterhood, jeff!
this is jeff’s brother-in-law. he took a brief leave from serving the country to attend natalie and jeff’s wedding before he had to leave shortly after the wedding to go back to the middle east. natalie and jeff dedicated a song to him to dance with his wife. i had to hold back the tears…
if you stay married for 60 years, you win a space on my blog!
thanks to natalie and jeff for having me capture their day. it was a blast from the past! thanks to david lim for helping me on this wedding.
